Adding a Security Contact to your Curricula account will will inform your Learners of where they need to go and whom they should consult to answer their security awareness-related questions. This contact should be someone within your organization — potentially an IT team member or leader — who is trusted to provide guidance and insight to your Learners as they apply their Curricula training.
Adding a Security Contact to Your Curricula Account
A default organizational Security Contact can be added to your account from the Account Panel.
Click on ‘User’ and select ‘Account’ from the top right hand corner of the mycurricula.com admin platform to navigate to the Account Panel.
Next, select the ‘Settings’ tab, followed by the ‘Learners’ tab.
Fill in the information you wish to provide to your learners under the ‘Security Contact’ section, then click ‘Update’ to save this default Security Contact to your Curricula account.
Adding a Security Contact to Curricula Training Episodes
An organizational Security Contact can easily be added to any Curricula training episode. When enabled, this contact’s information will appear on screen at the end of an episode so that your Learners will know whom to contact to learn more about each security awareness training topic.
To add a Security Contact to Curricula episodes from the mycurricula.com admin platform, first click on the ‘Groups’ tab and then on your desired group’s title.
From the ‘Schedule’ tab of your group’s settings, decide which episode you would like to add a Security Contact to and click on the ‘Customize’ button on the episode panel.
An episode customization menu will appear. Check the ‘Enabled’ box and use the dropdown list to add the Security Contact of your choice, be it the Default Security Contact added in the previous step or someone else in your organization (select the Custom option to add someone else).
Once your Security Contact is selected, click ‘Update Contact’ and then ‘Done’ to finalize the customization for that episode.
Follow the same steps on an episode-by-episode and a group-by-group basis to ensure all of your Learners know where to go with their questions.
